The point is not to predict; it’s to react. You cannot control what will happen; you can only control your reaction when it happens.Unfortunately we tend to panic as a group. Our markets have had age-old sayings - the equity markets will always turn around, that real estate prices can never go DOWN, that we are “decoupled” from the U.S. credit crisis, that our banking system is much more robust, that inflation is no big deal. Slowly and steadily, each of these phrases is getting question marks suffixed. Tomorrow there will be more questions, and very few answers. But I like to say - there is always money to be made from the markets. Greed, Fear, Panic or Listlessness, every emotion can have a positive rupee value associated with it.

>Hi deepak,
You have said it on couple of occassions that money from advertising is not great these days. Could you give an idea of how much do you earn from this blog ? In case you dont want to disclose this, would it be possible to anonymise the information and say something like how much clicks, rs. per click, do you get per 1000 visitors or so? it would be of great help. I think a lot of us would be interested in knowing this. You also are aware of how the internet is hyped with “earn money from your blog or site” claims.

>Hi Amit: I can’t reveal much in terms of revenue or such, but I do get about 1000 hits per day on the blog.
