SoS: Satyam Stopped Out, Staying Out for Results

Satyam's recovered a lot and I'm moving it out of the Short Only Strategy - one contract, about 10 bucks as a loss, which is around 6,000 Rupees. Not too bad, and the stop loss was the entry price, which was crossed today.

We are still at 11.87% on the SoS, for about four months. The next year should be good for shorts. Am eagerly awaiting results season.

Happy New Year everyone. Shall make a fresh post tomorrow. Meanwhile, stay safe.

Markets have already priced in the worst globally and locally.

S&P touched 11 year lows (Nov) and Nikkei touched 25 year lows (Oct) and European Indices almost touched their 2002 lows (Nov).

At that time India, Hongkong and Korea touched only it's last 3 years lows. This indicates that FIIs strongly feels that Asia is the place to be and India has bottomed out. Results are already factored in. Those looking for further bottom would be disappointed.

>Since its a virtual portfolio, let me dare to ask … if you had not stayed out where would the portfolio be today ? :-)

Thanks,
Raj.
