Crompton Greaves

Crompton Greaves is an Indian multinational company engaged in design, manufacturing, and marketing of products related to power generation, transmission, and distribution based in Mumbai. It is part of Avantha Group.

The company is organized into three business groups, viz., power systems, industrial systems and consumer products. Nearly two-thirds of its turnover accrues from product lines in which it enjoys a leadership position.

CG has 20 manufacturing divisions spread across India. And with the acquisition of Pauwels (Belgium), Ganz (Hungary), Microsol (Ireland), Sonomatra (France), MSE Power Systems (USA), Power Technology Solutions (UK), three businesses in Nelco (INDIA), Emotron (Sweden), QEI Inc. (USA) and ZIV Group (Spain), the company is emerging as a first choice global supplier for high quality electrical equipments.

A set of news impacted the stock price. One was the company’s disappointed Q3 results and the other was the abrupt change in management. The stock which was trading in the range of Rs. 170/- during the end of Jan, fell to a low of Rs. 119.55/- only to close today at Rs. 127.20/-.

ABP sold 4,431,926 shares or 0.71% at an avg. price of Rs. 125/- per share. ABP has been holding the stock as early as 2013 and hence the buy price could not be determined.

Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP – referred to as ABP, is the pension fund for government and education employees in the Netherlands.

Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, Heerlen, Netherlands, could be divided up into 14 separate pension funds or split into clusters of pension funds, said a report looking into the efficiency of public pension funds in the Netherlands. ABP is a single pension fund for members from 14 separate governmental sectors. One of the suggestions is to split the pension fund into these 14 sectors, or to divide the pension fund into a number of separate pension funds.

Ucal Fuel Systems

UCAL Fuel System Limited offers comprehensive Fuel Management Systems for Automotive sector. The company also manufactures pumps, emission control parts and various components for both ferrous and non-ferrous material.

UCAL has, since been a preferred supplier for some of the top OEMs such as Maruti Udyog, Hyundai, Cummins, Bosch, Mikuni, General Motors, TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto, Suzuki, Yamaha, Hero Honda Motors, etc.

Dhwaja Shares & Securities sold 149,777 shares or 0.66%.
