Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals the de-merged entity of Crompton Greaves. CG sold its power business overseas to a US private equity fund for an enterprise value of 115 million euros. It included its European, North American and Indonesian power transmission businesses to First Reserve International.
HDFC Mutual Fund which held 7.77% of the share capital, reduced its stake with sale of 36 lakh shares worth 50 Cr. This brings its holding down to 3,621,000 shares representing 7.2% of the share capital.
