About

Deepak Shenoy
My name is Deepak Shenoy, founder and Chief Editor of Capital Mind.
What Do I Do?
A lot of things, too much of some and too little of others.
I am a co-founder at MarketVision, which is about financial education and spreading awareness on markets and financial products to Indian consumers and businesses. No, we haven't made much money yet, but when does that ever stop anyone these days?
I program data analysis and visualization tools and frameworks (fancy phrase for "try to make numbers look good"), primarily for the purpose of creating trading systems. I look at market metrics from the 50,000 foot to the on-the-ground views, using technology I build.
Consulting and research: I also provide consulting services in the areas of data, analysis, visualization, technology and markets. And also with some of the newer technologies in markets, like XBRL, Get in touch with me if you'd like to speak in more detail.
I write at Yahoo. (See archive)
I speak at events or for specific training or awareness programs. Connect with me to find out more. (In short: if you make money or are a corporate, I'll charge a fee. If it involves travel, you'll have to pick up the travel and stay tab.)
Financial advice: I provide detailed financial advice for a fee, which varies depending on the service. Contact me for more information.
