Observing a week-long scheduled production holiday, Hero MotoCorp shut its Neemrana, Haridwar and Gurgaon plants while keeping the Dharuhera plant open. The shutdown was termed as annual maintenance which generally takes place at the end of December.
Hero MotoCorp reported sales of 330,302 units in December, 2016 against 499,665 units during the same time last year resulting in a contraction of 34%.
